Sickness, Weddings & Lack of Sleep.

Hello my fellow bloggers,

I know I didn't post yesterday, I was sick with a stomach flu bug. I was rather lucid all day, forced myself up in the morning yesterday as I had to go to see the Dr. Who, I really didn't like and wont be returning to... so the search for another Doctor continues. Hooray? Anyways, I didn't blog, or really go on the computer much yesterday until much later after I suddenly started to feel better post 9pm! Speaking of 9pm last night, who all watched the new episode of Greys Anatomy? Finally!!! Isn't Sophia adorable?! Haha I loved how Christina described her, "She looks like a chicken, a beakless, featherless chicken. Anyways, you want to wait until she's cuter to see her." So heartless, reminds me of someone else I know... in a good way though, like just not a people person heartless. Haha, *rambling*

Anyways, again on the TV topic-- this not working thing affords me with a lot of free time and I've picked up a TV habit it seems... thanks grandparents! Regardless, who dragged their butts out of bed this morning to watch the Royal wedding of Catherine (Kate) and William? I just barely caught it , something internally told me to wake up at 6am. So I got up, did my morning dash for bathroom and then layed back down and watched CTV's coverage of the royal wedding until 8:30ish after the kisses. All in all, I think she was a beautiful bride! I loved her gown (although, at $83,000 who wouldn't!?) and of course, William looked good too ;-)... although I think Harry looked better, just sayin'! But it was Will and Kates day! Did you all see that Harry had Pippa Middleton's arm at the end of the ceremony? Planned or no? I'd like to think it was planned as his on and off again thing, Chelsy was at the ceremony! (Just saying though, Pippa's a better catch!!)

Ah well, that's really all I've got to say. It was a long day, rather uneventful other than actually waking up this morning way earlier than I usually do.

I would like to take this time though, to say my congrats to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate!

Cheers,
Danielle.

If I had a chance, I'd take it....

Have you ever wondered what makes people tick? I've wondered that quite often lately, everyone from family to strangers. It just consumes my every thought sometimes, and I can't help it. I'm not quite sure where I'm headed with this thought, but I needed to b*tch about it a moment.

Anyways, this day has been long and pretty boring. I'm on my 3rd attempt at crocheting a dishcloth right now, as every attempt has failed so far. I made one the other day and it worked perfectly and was done within the day and this one has taken me two days to get half way done ... so frustrating, because there's no need for it. I need to keep my counting up, but it's so hard to do when you can't concentrate haha!

Here is the first one that took no time at all;

And this, the second one that's giving me all the trouble in the world;
I will post a picture of the finished product and if you want I can link you to the patterns I used as well ... leave a comment if you want the patterns!

Hey, I'm blogging here!

Soooo cannot sleep... watching youtube videos, and go to the youtube main page and who's face do I see? The NDP leader Jack Layton ... which reminds me, the Federal Election is on Monday, 6 days away and I've not the foggiest as to which way to vote. I know who I don't want to vote for ever, conservatives. I don't agree with them, at all. Liberals I usually agree with, but I cannot stand the thought of Ignatief being in parliament... looks like I'll be going Orange or Green this time... against better judgement. Yes, it's throwing away a vote... but hey at least I voted right?

My grandmother and a few others I know don't necessarily agree with my choice in how I vote. Like I said, I would rather throw away a vote than not vote at all. This is the second federal election I've had the chance to partake in and last time I ended up throwing away  the vote. Honestly, Canada, who's with me when I say our leaders need to step up and do the right thing for once. I find that all too often, they talk a good talk but never walk the walk they talk about. I've had enough! First and foremost, lets get Ignatief out of parliament as the leader of the Liberal Party... then we'll talk!

Danielle.

Welcome

Well, here I am. Figured, I need to do something with my time so I am blogging. This may fall on deaf ears, but it's my outlet. Read, or not... it's up to you.

I'll be blogging on important topics to me, and maybe to you in turn. Whoever you are, wherever you are thanks for stopping by!
